Hi I’m Alice, a Medical Engineering student at the University of Leeds with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students succeed. I achieved four A’s at A-level (Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Design Technology) and nine Grade 9s at GCSE, giving me a deep understanding of exam techniques and subject knowledge. I believe that every student learns differently, so I take a patient and adaptable approach, tailoring lessons to suit individual needs. Whether it’s breaking down tricky concepts, improving problem-solving skills, or building confidence, I make learning engaging and effective. Having taken a gap year in 2024 to travel around Australia and south-east Asia, I’ve gained valuable communication and problem-solving skills that help me connect with students and make lessons enjoyable. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and reach their full potential.

Hi I’m Holly, a medical student at the University of East Anglia with a passion for helping students succeed. With a strong academic background, I achieved 2 A’s (Chemistry and Physics) and 2 A*s (Biology and Maths) at a level and nine grade 9 GCSEs, giving me the insight to effective revision and exam techniques. 

Beyond academics, I have a keen interest in sports and enjoy staying active, which has helped me develop skills like resilience, teamwork and perseverance - qualities I bring into my tutoring. I also love to travel, and after spending time exploring the world in 2024, I’ve gained valuable adaptability, communication, and problem-solving skills that help me connect with students and make lessons engaging. 

As a tutor, I create a calm and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and develop their understanding at their own pace. I know that everyone learns differently, so I tailor each session to individual needs, using a variety of teaching styles to keep lessons interactive and enjoyable. My goal is to help students build confidence, enjoy learning, and achieve their full potential.

Hi, I’m Alex, a Geography student at the University of Oxford. During Sixth Form, I was Head Boy and helped organise an in-school tutoring programme, which sparked my passion for supporting students in their learning.

Having achieved 3 A*s at A-Level, I’m confident in my ability to share both subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for learning. My experience in mentoring has taught me that every student learns differently, and I’m committed to working collaboratively to find the approach that suits each individual best. With the right guidance and someone who listens, I believe every student can find their own path to success.

Outside of academics, I enjoy creative writing, which allows me to explore different ways of expressing ideas. This creativity feeds into my tutoring, helping me explain concepts in ways that resonate with each student.

I also believe that confidence is key to learning. Having worked with younger students, I’ve seen how building self-belief can make a huge difference — not just academically, but socially too. My aim is to create a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to try, learn, and grow.

Hi, I’m Ollie, a second-year Medical student at the University of East Anglia.

I’ve always been passionate about learning, and I believe that enjoying a subject is key to building real confidence and understanding.

As a tutor, my goal is to help students develop a genuine interest in their subject by understanding how each student likes to learn, and tailoring the process for every individual.

I achieved AAA in A-level Biology, Chemistry, and Maths, scored highly on the UCAT (Medicine entrance exam), and 11 GCSEs at grade 9. I also hold a qualification in Managing Learning Disabilities and Autism, which has given me valuable insight into supporting students with diverse needs.

I know what it takes to prepare effectively for exams, and I’d love to support others in reaching the grades they need to pursue their dream careers.
